I'm in Ireland when book club meets this month (July 18-29)... so I won't be able to join you to talk about the book I selected (bummer). In less you guys want to hold off until the first week of August (don't do that for me though). I keep forgetting to email you, hence the comment here.

I just listened to an audio book club on Slate for 50 shades, interesting to hear them discuss the book. They actually found quite a bit to talk about.

Have a wonderful holiday my friend!mpartykahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09058880500554363163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-3114098792941472962012-07-02T09:37:19.817-05:002012-07-02T09:37:19.817-05:00Yup, every time I turn around I find a new book I ...Yup, every time I turn around I find a new book I want to read! lolJo-Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12529212026658169288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-16235037336421194542012-07-02T07:47:47.683-05:002012-07-02T07:47:47.683-05:00Ha! We used to get Texas Co-op Monthly magazine (maybe from old electric provider?) and I loved the recipes that came with. Though I don't think we're considered deep south here.

Nothing on my list other than The Stand and various book club books - House of Mirth, Language of Flowers, Baker's Daughter, and Gone Girl are all planned. I haven't been reading much this past week but hope to change that now that the hubby and myself have managed to find our son a car, get the hubby a new motorcycle, and taking the boat out on the water!
