But, I am eagerly anticipating watching Guernsey--it's been a long time since I read the book, but I'm not going to try for a reread before I watch it. I was just on the Normandy coast and was amazed at how close the island actually is to France. It wasn't o...I enjoyed Wright's adaptation. It wasn't overly long and had great visuals so while I haven't read the original, the movie touched on the main themes of the book.<br /><br />It's been a long time since I read Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Society. Loved the book and look forward to the movie this weekend.<br /><br />Sharp Objects...wow. So dark. I have not read the book but I don't think I will after I finish of this series.
