It isn't a book that catches my fancy in the least, to be honest. I have a sour taste in my mouth as to the controversy surrounding it being published--but as my husband has pointed out, it likely would have been published anyway, if only after the author's death. I hadn't really thought it being a rejected manuscript but you're right.
