And at least she is getting away from the heat...although our humidity is enough to make the strongest person cry. I could see the moisture in the air this morning and it wasn't as fog. It was weird.

I hope you had fun with your book club this week!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02160951421693455864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-18879227530257692692016-06-21T16:00:10.352-05:002016-06-21T16:00:10.352-05:00I'm sorry you had to re-work for meal plans be...I'm sorry you had to re-work for meal plans because of the humidity. It's been awhile since I last put on an audiobook. I should settle on a new one and see what I think. I am glad you are enjoying The Marriage of Opposites so far. I have my eye on that one. Your read-a-thon idea sounds wonderful. I have the books . . . Now I just need to find the extra time!

Have a great week, Lisa!Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-28061431794441513682016-06-20T16:39:52.510-05:002016-06-20T16:39:52.510-05:00As I type this, it is 114 degrees. I saw a recipe for frozen lemonade that involved one cut up lemon (peel and all) 2 cups of ice water and some ice and sugar all blended up. It sounds pretty good right now. Oh... and you can add mint!Tihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00926060806244061354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-15787383114422319682016-06-20T00:52:01.494-05:002016-06-20T00:52:01.494-05:00I'm sure you had good weekend with the family....I'm sure you had good weekend with the family. Enjoy your book club meeting and your readathon. Reserved books from the library are coming in all at once! Top of the pile is Janice Y.K. Lee's The Expatriates, which you reviewed a while back, although I could do with something that will make me laugh out loud right now. The Woman Upstairs is such a good book - glad you're enjoying it. I'm looking forward to my book club this week, too!JoAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691864361197071517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-73441495030669916162016-06-19T15:11:25.952-05:002016-06-19T15:11:25.952-05:00That photo of your husband cutting steak and your ...That photo of your husband cutting steak and your cat staring at him is the funniest ever. I feel like I've been doing the most reading I've done this year so far. I finished a Chinese, historical fiction that was good. After a bunch of YA and romances, I started a cozy mystery and while I'm not into the meat of the plot yet, the cat in it is quite a feisty character.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-58693460092807551022016-06-19T12:31:28.778-05:002016-06-19T12:31:28.778-05:00Cassandra Campbell is one of my favorite narrators...Cassandra Campbell is one of my favorite narrators and I've been wanting to read The Woman Upstairs so it definitely sounds like I should go the audio route! I'm with you on the so many books to read. I keep toying with the idea of doing my own readathon but somehow I can't seem to get the timing right. We're hot and humid too so I've been spending the bulk of my time inside as well. Have a great week!Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.com
