I loved the rumination on memory (and the flaws of memory). Always an interesting topic to me. :DAndihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05220718933942181809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-75064261477219729502013-01-22T07:59:25.251-06:002013-01-22T07:59:25.251-06:00Terrific review - sounds like it was challenging i...Terrific review - sounds like it was challenging in some ways, but that it was well worth it in the end. The ending was shocking, but the way it was delivered sort of left me cold, and it took me awhile to figure it out, because basically, it was an equation. I wasn't greatly fond of this one, but I am glad that you had a better experience with it.Zibileehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443338685890187334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-14430310176651484582013-01-21T11:26:34.869-06:002013-01-21T11:26:34.869-06:00This was the first book of 2012 that I read, and i...This was the first book of 2012 that I read, and it really got my year off to a good start -- liked the writing a lot.(Diane) Bibliophile By the Seahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10519875632878992728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-6273670973147070802013-01-21T10:59:52.491-06:002013-01-21T10:59:52.491-06:00I am supposed to read this one this month but I ha...I am supposed to read this one this month but I haven't started it yet. I know it's short and that many have said it packs quite a punch, even with how short it is so I am curious about that aspect of it. But I think yours is the first review I've read that wasn't glowing. I'm sort of glad because it sounded almost too good to be true.Tihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00926060806244061354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7605456781483914021.post-2504009772917794702013-01-21T10:35:59.029-06:002013-01-21T10:35:59.029-06:00I hadn't heard of this one. thanks for introdu...I hadn't heard of this one. thanks for introducing me to his works. The kind that frustrates and makes me think and so TRUE - that memory is faulty and personal and possibly way off from FACT. It sounds like you liked it more than you might admit? Your review had me rethinking how much I really enjoyed it.
