Jumping in to Bout of Books Read-a-Thon at the last minute. The Big Guy is out of town this week and I deserve the chance to relax and read a lot this week! I'll knock off this month's book club selection today then I'm on to Tana French's The Likeness. The question after that will be if I should move onto French's third book Faithful Place or join the readalong for The Snow Child which I might not get to this month otherwise.
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23rd in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. The Likeness is great, in my opinion, but I am also very partial to Faithful Place. :-)
